The Calvinist Cadet Corps is a program for boys aged 7-13.

Cadets meet weekly, on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM.

Activities include Bible study, crafts, and social interaction, as well as some public service opportunities.

Coffee Break

Women’s Coffee Break is a joint ministry with Calvary Christian Reformed Church. This program has an emphasis on reaching out to young mothers with children.

Calvary CRC is located at Christies Corners (corner of Middletown Road and Highway 8).

Coffee Break meets Wednesday mornings at 9:30am for weekly Bible study.

Women from both churches attend. Women from the Flamborough community are also encouraged to join us.

Education (Youth)

For young people grades 7 through 12, we have a an education program that runs bi-weekly on Tuesday evenings from 7:30pm to 8:30pm, from September through May.

The goal of this program is to teach our children and youth what it means to be a Christian with a reformed worldview, and how to defend that worldview in a credible and logical way.

Friendship Club

The Friendship Club meets on Thursdays from 7:15pm to 8:45pm, from September through May.

Friendship Groups Canada is a non-denominational ministry that works with churches to provide Christian love, support and encouragement for people with cognitive impairments.

GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour)

GEMS is a program for girls aged 8-13.

GEMS meet at Calvary CRC on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

Activities include Bible study, crafts, and social interaction, as well as some public service opportunities.

Small Groups

Our adults meet as “Small Groups” in members’ homes for on-going Bible study and mutual encouragement as they face the questions of our day from a Biblical and reformed perspective. Small groups also meet for social interaction.

Sunday School

Sunday School is provided after the morning service for children from ages 3-11, from September through May. Children are taught Bible stories appropriate to their age levels, and do crafts related to the stories being taught.

YOGI – “Youth on God’s Inspiration”

YOGI is the name our youth have chosen to identify their group.

YOGI meets weekly, after the Sunday evening service, for Bible study and social interaction.

Vacation Bible School

The annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) program is a week-long program of child-based education comprised of Bible stories, songs, arts and crafts and skits, all of which cater to elementary-aged children. Traditionally, VBS runs for a week in the summer, sometime in July or August. The program concludes on the Friday evening with a presentation by the children and a potluck BBQ for parents, family and friends. Daycare is provided for volunteers and those parents who wish to participate in the program.

Women’s Bible Study

There are two women’s Bible study groups.

 One group meets on alternate Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm.  This group is geared for women who cannot attend during the daytime.

 Another group meets weekly, on Tuesday mornings at 10:00am.
